We had a busy Saturday last weekend, so we decided to do our hike on Friday evening. We chose Bridal Veil Falls this time, a quick but nice hike for the kids. You follow a paved trail to the falls, then after walking back, there's another trail you can take that leads you to pick-nick tables and a beautiful view of the Columbia River. It was perfect. Gwen walked the whole way and loved it. While eating our snacks at the pick-nick table a little bird kept coming over, so Jay and the kids started feeding it, seeing how close the bird would come to us. Both the kids loved that. They are animal lovers, especially Oscar!
As you can see from the pictures, it was another beautiful Waterfall. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of these all summer long. The kids were so worn out by the time we got home, that they crashed instantly. Love nights like that.
