Barton park!

Another Memorial Weekend come and gone. We had a blast! So many friends and family. This year my brother Jeff and his wife came from AZ, along with my sister Jenn and her family from Utah. We were just missing Aaron and Shauna. We also had a bunch of friends who would come out for the day and play, then go home before the gates closed at 10:00. There were kids of all ages, all day they rode bikes, scooters, played at the park, the swings, the sandbox, drew on the pavement with chalk, cooled off in the river, played baseball, tether ball... you name it, they did it! Barton really is a little piece of heaven for kids. Gwen and Oscar asked to go back for days. And us "grown ups" get to relax and catch up with everyone. It's a win-win! :) Gwen also learned how to ride a bike over the weekend, along with two other kids. It was so exciting! I can still picture her little face light up with a huge grin while pedaling that bike. Loved it!

I took like 5 pictures the whole weekend. I've been such a slacker the last two years at Barton. You just get so caught up in the fun and all, that I just simply forget to take pictures. So here are pictures mostly from Jay. Thank goodness for him! :)

We walked down to the river, here's Jay with Gwen and Oscar

Over a box of Kix, ladies and gents...

Cute little Avie

Gwen enjoying some kind of treat...

These kids were making a cute music video with an app on their phones. It turned out cute!

 Jaidyn and Gwen
It was super fun to watch these two play together. They live too far away from each other :(

We found this girl with her boots off, playing under the swing in a giant puddle, using her boots as water toys. Soaking wet!

We lost Oscar for a little bit. We found him playing in a single enclosed shower room. He thought it was hilarious. Mom.. not so much.

My brothers Todd and Jeff

Sunday morning... it kind of sprinkled on us.. ;)

Gwen loves hanging out with Tobi

My siblings and families and the Anderson crew. Many more not pictured.

 What an amazing weekend!
