After celebrating Jay Day, we decided to celebrate through the weekend and go camping. We decided to make it a campground with a frolf course close by, after all... it is the Jay man's birthday. We invited the Rickers too and they came with Ash and Dusty. We decided on Metzler Park in Estacada. Jay and I had never been there and were excited to try it out, and we definitely approve. They had a park for the kids, a softball field, a volleyball net, a swimming hole, lots of trails and lots of other fun things. It ended up raining on us some of the time, but that didn't stop us, we enjoyed our time and the kids had a blast! Although, I failed in the packing department and didn't bring enough warm clothing, by Sunday morning the kids only had pajamas left. Oh' well!. We frolfed at a near by frolf course and met up with Jarad and Josh. Gwen loves to frolf and prefers to be out walking and throwing the disc. Oscar prefers the stroller with some cheerios. ;) My parents & Shauna joined us for dinner Saturday night and that was fun to have them there too. We sure love our families. :) We had a great weekend. Thank you Rickers for joining us and for all the fun and adventures.
