For Oscar's first birthday we decided to have a pupusa party with our family and friends. We had our friend Martha, or as we like to call her "OUR" Pupusa lady, come over and made us pupusas warm right off the grill. They were delicious, siempre. Oscar opened presents, ate cake and made a mess of himself. It was such a fun day and I'm so glad we got to share it with so many lovely people.

I didn't get a photo of the end result...but he was tired, started rubbing (with his chocolaty hands) his eyes, forehead and hair. It was a disaster of a mess. He went straight to the tub. BUT he loved every bite!
