Gwen at 18 months!
I don't even know where to begin with this little girl.
*What a ham she is. She definitely takes more after Jay than me (in the social department). I can't go in any store without her saying "hi","hello","adios" while waving to some stranger. Just a couple of weeks ago we were in Target and I kid you not... EVERY PERSON we passed by she said hi to. Although, when we want her to "preform" her cuteness or attitude to people she just sits there. Go figure.

*She's talking a lot more these days, a few of her most recent words are: flower, kite, bike, squirrel, ukulele, water, fishy, horsey (In a deep deep voice), outside, cracker, apple, grape, thank you. And asking "what's that" to everything! She can also say all of her cousins names (struggling more with Quinn & Finn) and LOVES all of them. Anyone of them can walk in the room and she just lights up.
*She LOVES puppies! We have a neighbor Golden Retriever named Molly and every time we go outside she says "where's ma-ee?" (where's Molly). She just can't get enough of the puppy love and so of course her new favorite movie is Lady & The Tramp.
*She can blow you kisses and give kisses. She can give you the best big squeezes (but these are rare and far in between). She gives "loves" by resting her head on any part of your body. She also give you a high five, followed with a "rock" (fist bump), where she says "boooom". It is a rare thing to have her just sit on your lap, which leaves little to no cuddling time, so when she does cuddle we LOVE it.

*She knows two Spanish words, adios and vamos (vamos is followed with a wiggle of the shoulders).
*This little lady is a climber, so you can imagine the fun that comes with that.
*The child LOVES to be outside, especially on the trampoline with her cousins. But when we're outside, in stores, or at church she wont stay by our side or even within 10-15 feet. When put down or "let loose" she runs and runs and wont come back.

*She loves to sing! She sings along to the Backyardigans theme song and others on that show, she sings to a few songs on Lady & the Tramp, she sings along to Rain, Hey Jude, Let it be and a few other songs from the Beatles, and Cecilla from Simon & Garfunkel.
*She loves to be read to, although I can't leave her alone with any of her books because she destroys them. Who knew books would be considered edible.
*Recently she's turned into a hoarder... she decides in the morning what toys she's going to carry around all day and she does just that. The past week she has carried around her ring-A-links or "bracelets" and usually another item or two. The bracelets pretty much stay on all day. No joke.
She had a doctors appointment last week and here are her stats at 18 months...

Weight: 21.10-8%
Height: 31.5-46%
Head: 47 cm-64%
Anytime Gwen disappears she's either found an open door to a bathroom or she's back in the office. And she always plants herself on this chair and starts a conversation on the phone.
Her new thing is to shove food, toys, or whatever UP or IN her pant legs. The toys I don't mind too much. But the food... really Gwen?
Again... really Gwen?
I was getting her ready for her bath when she took off (I think to show off her nudity to grandma & grandpa) and this is how I found her. Phone in one hand, pen in the other saying "hel-WO"And there you have The Gwenster at 18 months...
What on earth did we do before this little lady arrived?

Gwen, is so cute. I love that she says adios. I saw your little counter...14 days! What!?! I can't believe it. I hope everything goes well. :)
That was a CUTE post! Gwen is so hilarious and full of personality! LOL about sticking food/toys up her pants. Oh my gosh how funny, yet disgusting at the same time! Can't wait to meet the next little Ricker!
oh man, what a stinker! Looks like I have a lot to look forward to :) Norah is already 25 in and she is only 2 and half months old. We've got a tall baby on our hands! Good luck with the new addition. I bet you guys are just the most fun parents ever! :)
she is ADOREABLE!! I love her little personality.
She is so sweet, Heath! Gwen is going to be an awesome big sis!!
Thats awesome..I love it! She is getting so big. This makes me that much more excited to see her when we come!
Fun post Heather. Man, a lot has happened since I've last seen her. She sure is growing up! I think Jaidy is following in her footsteps with a few of those personalities like Ripping the stuffing out of pillows, climbing...not nearly as high tho.
