Hello!

Hello Hello! It's May and I can't even believe it! April was quite the month... I think I spent half of it on vacation. First we had Easter, my parents were out of town, so we spent the day with the Rickers. It was a rainy day, but that didn't stop the Easter egg hunt. Gwen did pretty good for her first hunt... she was trying to pick up 3 eggs at a time, and was getting mad that her little hands couldn't do it.

On to the trip... first we traveled to Utah for my Grandma's 90th birthday party. We stayed with Jenn and her family in Richmond. Then Jay, Josh & the Crawford traveled home, while Les & I with the kids stayed with my parents and bummed a ride to AZ. We stayed in AZ for a week with Jeff & Becky and visited our favorite cousins and good friends, then traveled through California back home. It was a great trip! We saw almost my whole side of the family on my dads side at my grandma's birthday bash and then in AZ we had 80-90 degree weather. Loved it! It was a LONG time away from the Jay man, but I was glad I went. Little Gwen missed her dad so much, she became Grandpa's best friend, following him around and wanting him to carry her and feed her everyday. It was pretty cute. And I kind of think my dad lked all the attention he was getting from her :)

This is where Gwen spent a lot of her time over the weekend. Soy & Bentley were down these stairs playing with the toys and she had to watch from afar. (Just to clarify... we're not mean parents... Gwen doesn't do stairs yet, and instead of playing with the toys down there like we would have liked her to, she wanted to play on the stairs.. therefore, she was caged upstairs)
