For the 4th Of July Weekend we decided to head down South and visit our good friends, the Linthorst's who live in Medford. We left Thursday afternoon and got there just in time for the fun activities. That night we went to their friends house and had a BBQ then later that evening we went to a giant firework show that their friends put on for the whole neighborhood. It was crazy!! It lasted for at least a half hour, probably longer and we sat front row just 40 ft. from the fireworks. It was awesome!

One of the days we drove down in to California and went to Jedediah Smith Redwood forest and went on a short hike. Gwen loved to climb anything she could and Oscar jumped off anything in sight. It was a blast! Loved the tall trees and the greenery every where you turn.
After that, we drove up back into Oregon and went to Brookings Beach. We found a sweet spot to walk down to the beach and we were beach bums for a couple of hours. It was beautiful!
