Mid-December we decided to take the kids to the Zoo Lights and we're so glad we did. We had two buy-one get one-free tickets, so we brought Quinn with us and Oscar was free. Although, I think next time we'll plan on being there a bit earlier so that we could see all the animals. We got there at 5:30 and every animal but the Monkeys were asleep. :( Who knew? We did the train ride, walked around and saw all the lights, checked out the Monkeys and drank hot chocolate to keep warm. The kids had a ton of fun. Gwen kept asking about all the other animals, so I'm going to have to take her back to see them awake.
