Wow! I'm so behind! This summer has just flown by. We're doing great, Jay's been busy working, Gwen's been busy getting into everything and I've been busy chasing Gwen out of everything. We have managed to get away and have some fun, too!

The first of June, we went camping at Champoeg State Park, Oregon with the Ricker fam, and that was a tons of fun. A frolf course right there on the camp ground... Rickers couldn't ask for more :)

We tied Gwen's leash to this pole, thinking she'd last about 5 minutes, but she LOVED it! She just played with these toys and was just happy to be outside.

Mid June, Jay, Gwen & I headed to Utah for a weekend. Our good friends, Annie & her twin boys, Jono & Alex, invited Jay to come to a father/son scout outing (The twins lost their dad 2 years ago to cancer so they wanted Jay to join them). So the boys went off and camped for a bit, and Gwen & I hung out with Annie & had a great time. It was a short, fun trip and we were able to see a few friends as well.

Visited the Radfords and Gwen was able to play with Isaac (on their tennis court in the backyard... life is rough for them!) ((Jay wrote this part!))

Josh, Todd & Jay are on a soccer team and were able to watch them play a few times once the weather was nice enough....

We had a father/daughter outing. I was lucky enough to go with my pops and Jay. It was at the Dickey's, so there was tons to do... zip lines, swings, tire swing, playhouse, hot tub... pretty much the best backyard anyone could ask for. It's an adult play place!




Bubble-blowing contest!

Playing with a potato gun, where the gun shoots a tennis ball 100 yards straight into the air and then you try to catch the ball. This game started out with both fathers & daughters, but soon after, you had a side line of daughters watching their dads running around trying to catch this tennis ball (as pictured).
Boys will be boys at any age I suppose.



Diving for frolf discs...

So people throw their discs and sometimes it lands into ponds and then they don't want to swim in after them, so they just leave them. Then you have boys like these who put their gear on and dive in after them. They usually find 50+ discs in each pond. This day was only about 20.

So this was at 25 weeks... but you should see me now... Roley poley at it's best!





And last but not least... we celebrated Jay day at the end of the month (again, that was at the Dickey's house!) Jathan turned 27 on the 28th. We had a joint birthday celebration with Sawyer who's birthday is the 29th, he turned 4! It was a fun night! LOTS of friends & family, good food, etc. What could be better?
