We went to Astoria beach for the Labor day weekend with the Ricker family. We stayed at a KOA and had tons of fun. Saturday we had beautiful weather and played at the KOA and then made it down to Seaside. On Sunday, it rained (down pore, actually), but luckily there was a break of sunshine and we were able to go see the Astoria Column, a light house made back in 1926. It was awesome!! Anyway, We had a great time! Thanks to the Ricker fam for making the weekend so much fun :)

Chum & Jade in our tentOur tent had some problems, and ultimately didn't make it through the weekend. So here's Chum completely annoyed because it's 5:30 in the morning, and here's Jade holding the tent pole in place, which was bent in half and then tied to a broom stick for support. a couple hours later, the broom stick snapped in half. It was a crazy storm.

We were both snoozin' and it was great!! Still laughing at Chum's face in the tent! That was ONE crazy night...
